Maricopa City Council
I was elected in November of 2014, and re-elected in 2018 to a four year term as a City Councilmember for Maricopa. I own and operate Sunbelt Home Watch Services and work as the Director of Advertising for InMaricopa a hyper local news organization in the City of Mariopca.
In addition to serving as the Director of Advertising I am also a minority partner in the business.
I started a Facebook group called Maricopa Motorcycle Riders where people can arrange rides or just talk about motorcycle issues.
Little Bit About Me.
I moved to Maricopa a few years ago and have become very active in the community.
Yes, that is my 2001 1100 CC Yamaha V-Star in the picture to the left.
My family and I moved from Phoenix and made Maricopa their home in 2010. Upon arriving in Maricopa he saw a community that had such promise and decided to get involved. He started with youth sports, helping the Babe Ruth League with Softball, and is still helping to this day, along with his daughters, who help him coach although now with Maricopa Little League.
We have volunteered our time for many causes in the community like helping many non-profits and collecting food donations for our food bank. I has served on the Maricopa Board of Adjustment and the Zoning Re-Write Task Force which gave us a new zoning code in 2014. We as a Family can always be found pitching in to help our city.
As a professional I am an advocate for continuing education which is why I work in the Learning and Development field. I Understand the need to continually grow and learn new skills to keep pace with an ever-changing workplace. I hold a Bachelor Degree with a dual major in Business Administration and Social Sciences with an emphasis on Education.
Although I have faced many challenges; one constant is my respect and admiration for his parents and family. My parents had a huge role in my desire to be self-sufficient and give back to my community. They instilled in us a belief that in order to be successful you had to keep trying - even when less would be accepted and we strive as parents to instill this same belief in our daughters. Frank and Katherine Manfredi taught him the need to do more than others expected and surpass artificial limitations.
